ABOUT / MICHELE ANDRIGHETTI

I work with data and processes. What interests me most is making them simpler.

My work sits between data analysis, automation and the small tools that make operational processes easier to understand and repeat.

What I do

I often start from an existing process rather than a blank page: an Excel workbook that has grown over time, a control performed manually, a database query used by only one person, or a folder structure that has become part of an operational routine.

I try to understand what the process really needs, which steps are only historical baggage and where a small amount of automation can make the work safer without hiding the logic from the people who use it.

Tools

Excel, Power Query, VBA and SQL are recurring tools because they sit close to operational data and users. I also work with Oracle databases, remote systems and lightweight automation where a full application would be unnecessary.

The technology is secondary to the boundary of the problem: what should remain visible, what can be automated, and what evidence must be preserved when something goes wrong.

Why this site exists

This is a personal technical notebook. I use it to document patterns that recur in my work, small tools that proved useful, and experiments where rules, data and repetition produce something interesting. The examples are generalised and stripped of sensitive operational details.

Understand the data. Automate the rest.
